IMPHAL, April 3 � The annual plan size of Manipur for the financial year 2012-13 has been proposed at Rs 4,680 crores during a meeting of the Cabinet last evening, official sources said today.
Sources said the State Government would request the Planning Commission to approve the State Cabinet�s proposal.
Home Minister Gaikhangam said the meeting also discussed to implement the flagship programmes of the Centrally-sponsored schemes in a more effective manner. He told local media after the meeting last evening that the government would also release arrear-payments of employees of Manipur State Transport Corporation who could not get their payments in time soon. � PTI
