IMPHAL, May 15 � Melody Khoirom of Imphal has secured the first position in the merit list of the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) examination 2015, the results of which were declared by State Education Minister M Okendro Singh here on Thursday.
A total of 21,225 students passed, out of 34,460 students who appeared in the examination. The pass percentage was 61.52.
Toijam Sanjina Devi of Little Flower School and Gurumayum Gopalkrishna of Don Bosco High School jointly bagged the second position by securing 474 marks out of 500. Melody scored 475 out of 500. Victoria Ngangbam of Nirmalabas School bagged the third position with 469 marks.
