JORHAT, Feb 14: A man named Punab Choudhury (50) was killed allegedly by his son-in-law Santosh Gowala (38) at the latter's rented house at Tarajan Sashan Road here on Tuesday night .
A police source stated that Choudhury, a daily wage earner, was allegedly hit by a stick by Gowala, after a quarrel broke out between the both persons.
The source said that Gowala fled after committing the crime and police were on the lookout for him.
