HAILAKANDI, May 19 - In a shocking ncident in Vichingcha village of Hailakandi, a 40-year-old person killed two of his children and committed suicide today.
Alam Uddin Laskar, an e-rickshaw driver by profession killed his four-year-old daughter Habiza Begum Laskar and two-year-old son Habizur Rahman Laskar with a dao and hung himself at his home. Vichingcha village is just on the outskirts of Hailakandi town.
Neighbours informed that his wife left home two says back after a quarrel along with the kids at her father�s home located in a nearby area. But Alam reportedly brought back the kids from the possession of wife.
Today, his wife came to his house after getting information from the neighbours about the deaths. The neighbours also informed the police after the incident. The police immediately came and sent the bodies to SK Roy Civil Hospital for post mortem.
