RAHA, June 21 - Nagaon Police on Thursday claimed to have apprehended a criminal accused in many dacoity cases within the district.
The 38-year-old accused was identified as Anarul Islam. He was caught by a joint team of police from Samaguri Police Station and Nagaon police led by DSP Manash Mahanta from Baziagaon area under Samaguri Police Station.
According to information received, police declared him a proclaimed offender in many dacoity cases and murder, including one in Borghat area of the district recently.
