GUWAHATI, Feb 16 (PTI): The condition of litterateur Indira Raisom Goswami has slightly improved but she continues to be on ventilator support.
Assam Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said today, "there is a very minor improvement in her condition.
Specialists from AIIMS and GMCH are monitoring her condition".
Sources at the Gauhati Medical College Hospital (GMCH) said the overall health condition of the 69-year-old writer remained a matter of concern though her fever due to septicaemia had come down in the morning and her blood pressure and pulse rate were stable.
An infarction (formation of an area of tissue death due to a local lack of oxygen caused by obstruction of the tissue's blood supply) was detected in her brain during a CT scan, the sources said.
