NEW DELHI, July 6 Dr Mamoni Raisom Goswami is likely to be flown back to Guwahati tomorrow morning by a team of specially trained nursing staff and doctors.
The decks were cleared for her shifting from Medanta Medi-city in neighbouring Gurgaon after the State government cleared all formalities including settling of the bills on Tuesday. She is being flown back in a regular Spice Jet commercial flight as stretcher passenger. She would be accompanied by doctors and a family member, said sources.
The noted author, though in coma, is breathing normally without any external support and her vital health parameters were stated to be normal. She sustained severe cerebral damage, said her doctors.
She was shifted to Medi-city on February 19 in a critical condition from Guwahati Medical College Hospital. She was admitted to the hospital in Guwahati on February 12, after she complained of breathlessness. She was later airlifted after her condition deteriorated.
