SILCHAR, March 14 - A house, a cloth shop and a grocery store were gutted in a major fire that broke out at Bajarichora in Karimganj district at around 12 noon on Tuesday.
According to sources, the fire broke out allegedly due to a short circuit. The extent of damage is estimated to be around worth
Rs 90 lakh. The local people, however, alleged that the fire tenders didn�t reach the spot on time due to which the fire engulfed nearby areas.
