GUWAHATI, Jan 27 - The State government has ordered a magisterial inquiry into the Basisthapur fire incident that took place on January 23.
The incident took place at House No.2, Basisthapur, Bylane-1, Wireless, in which two minors � Ishan Krishnatriya (8 years) and Evan Krishnatriya (3 years) died.
The District Magistrate of Kamrup Metropolitan district shall conduct the inquiry and ascertain the cause of the incident. He will also suggest measures to prevent occurrence of such incidents in the future and submit a report within 15 days.
