GUWAHATI, May 17 The young magic practitioner of Assam, Jadu Samrat Vikram succeeded in his first and last attempt at mass Mentalism with all his political predictions in connection to the general election 2014 made more than two weeks before the election result proving cent per cent correct.

On May 1, this magic practitioner had locked his prediction in a special box. The box had five locks and the keys were in the custody of senior executives from the satellite channels till May 17. The box remained with the Guwahati Press Club till then.

On Saturday this box was opened in the presence of the media fraternity at the Guwahati Press Club and with every word of Vikram's political prediction proving true, mass Mentalism emerged as a new word of interest before those who had gathered on the occasion.

Vikram had predicted that Congress will win three seats, the BJP seven, the AIUDF three and others one. He had also predicted that Sarbananda Sonowal, Guarav Gogoi, Bijoya Chakraborty and Ajmal will win and that senior BJP leader and the party's national vice-president Bijoya Chakraborty will get the highest vote.

Determination and hard work is the key to my success. Magic is an art and it has no boundaries. Over the years I have been doing my best to promote magic as an art and I hope that my initiative at mass Mentalism will attract the attention of the government towards this art, said Vikram observing that there has been no concerted efforts to promote magic although Assam had a rich tradition in magic.

It needs to be mentioned here that many practitioners of magic in the State have been compelled to leave the field due to government indifference towards the art. Vikram pointed out that since the government has not undertaken any initiatives to promote magic as an art, the State was still in the grip of superstition.
