Lovlina, Bhagyabati in semifinals

GUWAHATI, Jan 4 - Lovlina Borgohain of Assam and Bhagyabati Kachari who represents Railways defeated Anjali of Delhi by 3-2 in the 69kg welter weight category and Pratibha Thakur of Himachal Pradesh by 5-0 in the 81kg light heavy category respectively in the 3rd Elite Women�s National Boxing Championship today being played at Bellary in Karnataka.

With these victories both the Assam boxers made it to the last-four stage.

Lovlina will meet E Meemthoi Devi of All India Police while Bhagyabati will take on Jigyasa Rajput of MP tomorrow in the semifinals, informed Assam Amateur Boxing Association secretary Hemanta Kumar Kalita.
