AALO, Dec 10 - The National Lok Adalat disposed off 140 criminal compoundable cases, money suits and litigation cases out of 360 cases amounting to Rs 49,48,478 at District Court Building here on Saturday.
The remaining cases could not be tried due to absence of victims, complainants, respondents and unwillingness on the part of the party to settle the cases in the Lok Adalat and these cases have been referred to next Lok Adalat or regular court, a press release said.
