GUWAHATI, Sept 2 - Life Insurance Corporation of India, Guwahati Division, settled claims worth Rs 668.52 crore with settlement percentage of 98.98 in maturity and 99.88 in death claims, during the financial year 2014-15.
LIC, which is celebrating its 59th anniversary, said in a statement that since introduction of LIC Golden Jubilee Fund, it has supported 325 projects on an all-India basis for underprivileged sections of society. It also provides scholarship schemes for students, which is being availed by a total of 10,878 students.
