Leading bodybuilders to feature in Mr Saraighat

GUWAHATI, April 27 - The 27th Mr Saraighat RG Baruah Memorial All India Classic Body Building Championship will feature some of the leading bodybuilders from across the country. The championship will be held at the ITA Centre here on April 29.

The Championship organised by Saraighat Gym in association with Assam Body Builders and Fitness Association under the aegis of Indian Body Builders Federation (IBBF) will feature some of the top ranked body builders including Jatinder Singh and Maheswaran Balakrishnan.

The champion will walk away with a cash award of Rs 1,25,000 while the second and third will receive Rs 1,00,000 and Rs 80,000 respectively. The championship includes cash awards along with gift items for the top ten bodybuilders.

Chetan Pathare, general secretary, IBBF and Balbir Singh, judges� committee chairman, IBBF will conduct the event.

DS Group, Star Cement, Topcem Cement and Indian Oil Corporation will be sponsoring the event. The Assam team will feature the likes of A Boby Singh, Dilip Deuri, Abhijit Das, Kuldip Dutta and Robi Meitei.
