DIPHU, Dec 13 - The Langpi Dehangi Rural Bank (LDRB) observed the 62 nd death anniversary of Dr BR Ambedkar here recently at its head office, Diphu.
In this connection around 186 people were provided Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yajna (PMMY) loans. In a bank press release stated that PMMY loans have been disbursed to 50 Scheduled Tribe (ST) and 40 Scheduled Caste (SC). Similarly, 31 and 59 members belonging to the Other Backward Caste (OBC) and women beneficiaries were too provided financial assistance. The total loan amount disbursed during the day was Rs 76.37 lakh, the bank statement stated.It may mentioned be here that the rural bank has been giving services in the three hill districts, including East Karbi Anglong, West Karbi Anglong and Dima Hasao district.
