JORHAT, Dec 23 - Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) president Prodyut Bora said that his party would start door-to-door campaign in Jorhat for winning the peoples mandate in the 2016 Assembly elections.

Addressing media here today, Bora, named as the party candidate for the Jorhat Assembly constituency, said they will visit 45,000 households in the constituency. As the Congress, BJP and AGP betrayed the voters, we will sensitise them to choose their right representative from our party for this prestigious seat, he said.

Asked about the LDPs strategies for fighting the election, Bora said that they followed a strict selection process for naming their candidates on the basis of their character, competence and commitment for serving the people. We will contest in 30 to 35 seats across the State, he added.
