GUWAHATI, Nov 27 � Langsning Football Club topped the group with six points winning both the matches in the 60th Bharat Ratna Lokapriya Bordoloi Trophy Tournament.
In an all Shillong group league match, Langsning handed a 3-0 drubbing to Ar-hima Football Club at Nehru Stadium here today.
However, both the teams have entered the semifinal stage as the other team of the group � OIL Football Club � was eliminated after two defeats.
After a barren first session, Victor F opened the account in the 49th minute and after that the Langsning boys got their rhythm and pumped in two more goals. PK Ningleithing made it 2-0 in the 76th minute while YJS Ayeni completed the rout in the 87th minute.
The momentum in the second session enhanced as both the teams adopted attacking tactics.
