Lajong to take on Mumbai FC

GUWAHATI, Dec 9 � Shillong Lajong Football Club will play against Mumbai Football Club in an I-League encounter at the Nehru Stadium here on December 11. The prices of tickets will be Rs 50, Rs 60 and Rs 80 with VIP tickets costing Rs 200.

The general secretary of Lajong Larsing Ming Sawyan in a press meet here today said that the priority of the club is to utilise local talent and secure a strong position at the national circuit. The club has also extended their support to the �Save Our Tigers� campaign, an initiative of Aircel. � We would like to endorse a noble cause and our team will spread awareness of the need to protect the tiger in the country,� said Ming. He said the Lajong players will sport the �Save Our Tigers� jerseys all over India which he felt will go a long way to further the all-important cause.

Also present in the press meet, were Aircel officials Arivind Singh Sachdeva, Dibyajyoti Khound, filmmaker Munin Baruah, singer Zubeen Garg and coach of Shillong Lajong P Reddy.
