GUWAHATI, Jan 4 � Shillong Lajong defeated Assam Police Blues in today�s Bordoloi Trophy encounter at the Nehru Stadium here. Lajong won 4-2 via tie-breaker after both the teams were locked 1-1 in regulation time. Rideem Tlang scored the first goal for Lajong in the 73rd minute, but the police team found the equaliser through Mafidul Islam in the 81st minute.
In the tie-breaker, Nim Dorjee Tamang, Samuel Shadap, Wagenban Angoushamu and Rideem Tlang scored for Lajong while for AP Blues, Munna Bahadur Limbu and Kajaigek Rongpi found the back of the net.
