GUWAHATI, April 4 - The North East Kung-Fu Federation will send an eight-member kung-fu team for the International Martial Arts Games to be held at Kathmandu, Nepal on April 9 and 10.
The team will be accompanied by officials-Bicham Kr Singha, Gautam Das and Jyotimoi Daimary, stated a release.
The team members are: (Male) Arvind Singha (36kg), Biswajit Kalita (75kg), Mukut Das (44kg), Nur Alom Sarkar (50kg), Saidul Islam (51kg), Tosim Alom (54kg), Jarmin Sangma (53kg). (Female) Namrata Daimary (sub jr, 38kg).
