IMPHAL, Nov 2 � Young Kuki girl Lamneimoi Chongloi has been adjudged Miss Kut 2014 to go home richer with a cheque of Rs 1 lakh in the beauty pageant held as part of Kut festival, the annual post-harvest festival of the Kuki-Chin-Mizo tribes in Manipur held here last night.
The award was presented to Miss Kut 2014 by Irrigation and Flood Control Minister Ngamthang Haokip. The first and second runners up title went to Okram Monica, a Jet Airways cabin crew and Kathipri Thiyam. They were also awarded cash prizes of Rs 75,000 and Rs 50,000 respectively.
Besides the three title holders, five other competitors were given cash prize of Rs 15,000 each. Baby S was awarded � Miss beautiful smile, Prescila Kom � beautiful hair, Kripashree Bachaspatimayum � beautiful eye, Lenita Thounaojam � miss congeniality and Chongsekim Chongloi � best designer.
