GUWAHATI, Oct 21 - Kristi Boro and Kritanta Sarma clinched double crown in the 7th India Club-AITA Tennis Championship Series.
Kritanta won the Boys� U-14 singles and doubles titles while Kristi walked away with the Girls� U-14 singles and doubles crowns.
In the closing ceremony Anupam Chowdhury, secretary general, India Club; Shankar Datta Lahkar, president, India Club; Ankush Dutta, secretary, AATA; Santanu Bhattacharyya, Kalyan Kumar Das and Abhishek Narinia (RM, Maruti-Suzuki India Pvt Ltd) gave away the prizes. Annaya Jamir and Andy Thaosen were adjudged as most promising girl and boy in the meet.
Final results: (Boys U-14) Kritanta Sarma bt Hrikpb Bora (7-6(3), 6-3), (Girls U-14) Kristi Boro bt Harshita Borah (6-1, 6-1), (Boys U-14 doubles) Kritanta Sarma/Hrykpb Bora bt Anchit Gogoi/Aditya Pratim Bhagawati (6-1, 7-5), (Girls U-14 doubles) Kristi Boro/Harshita Bora bt Areena Phukan/Nishtha Rani Borphukan (7-5, 6-2).
