SIVASAGAR, Aug 19 - As alleged by one Ponchanon Dutta of Khoragarh, Kaloogaon near here, Alide Consultants and Others of 2/13, Ashok Nagar, Kolkata, a company which supplies water treatment machinery and laboratory equipment, failed to supply about 70% equipment for his packaged drinking water factory �Panchali Enterprise and Others� at Khoragarh despite receiving a lion�s share of payment in separate instalments.
Dutta alleged that NEDFi directly sent an amount of Rs 27 lakhs in two instalments on January 2, 2013 and March 14, 2013. From August 23, 2013 to September 26, 2017, Dutta claimed to have sent an amount of Rs 4,30,000 through bank transfer to the company. Yet the company deliberately kept supply of the required machinery pending.
It goes without saying that Dutta has presently landed in great trouble as he has to repay bank loans regularly, while on the contrary, the project is yet to take off.
Finding no other alternative, Dutta approached the Court of Civil Judge here on July 27 and sent a summon to Alide Consultants and Others of Kolkata to appear before it for recording their statement.
