Kokrajhar school to play Subroto Cup

GUWAHATI, Aug 28 - Titaguri High School, Kokrajhar thrashed Khowang Higher Secondary School, Dibrugarh 5-0 to win the Nripendra Narayan Singha Memorial U-17 Inter District Girls Football Championship organised by the Director of Sports and Youth Welfare.

By the virtue of this win at the SAI ground here last evening, the Kokrajhar school qualified to participate in the Subroto Cup to be held in New Delhi later this year.

Among those present in the prize distribution ceremony were Director of Sports Pabitra Ram Khound, Joint Secretary Department of Sports Ranoj Borkotoky, SAI Director Subhash Basumatary.
