Koch royals form executive body

GUWAHATI, Oct 3 - The first general body meeting of the recently-constituted Consortium of Koch Royal Families met at Ranibagan of the erstwhile Beltola estate recently to form the executive body, a press release said.

The meeting was presided over by Uma Devi of the Beltola royal family. The executive committee was formed to chalk out a future agenda of the consortium. The newly-constituted executive body with the office-bearers unanimously elected Kumar Indrajit Narayan Dev as president, Kumar Troilokya Vijay Narayan Dev as vice-president, Anangarekha Devi Borua as vice-president and Kumar Pranab Narayan Dev and Kumar Supriyo Narayan as secretaries.

The meeting resolved to commemorate the birth anniversary of Bir Chilarai, who was the founder along with King Naranarayan, of the Koch dynasty.
