KMSS to fight BJPs gameplan

By Correspondent

MORIGAON, Nov 16 - The Krishak Mukti Sangram Samiti (KMSS) will fight with all its might against the Bharatiya Janata Partys communal gameplan ahead of the Assam Legislative Assembly polls 2016.

Addressing two public meetings in Morigaon district on Saturday, Akhil Gogoi, leader of KMSS said that the capitalist BJP is being guided by communal thoughts and this communal party will finish Assam and Assamese nationality. Addressing a public meeting at Galsepa, Gogoi warned that the Narendra Modi-led BJP Government which is working at the behest of the corporate lobby will never do good for Assam. Akhil further said that sensitive issues like beef was a pre-planned creation of the BJP and RSS, so that communal clashes take place and they can reap political benefit.

Criticising the media, Akhil Gogoi said that a section of the media in Assam was partisan and they are propagating the idea that BJP will come to power in the next Assembly polls. Talking to newsmen, Gogoi said that the KMSS is working for a four-party alliance in Assam barring the BJP and the Congress. However, he clarified that he will not contest elections.
