GUWAHATI, Aug 7 � The Krishak Mukti Sangram Samiti (KMSS) today resented the dissolution of the core committee of the India Against Corruption (IAC). KMSS general secretary Akhil Gogoi was the member of the IAC core committee.
In a statement here, the KMSS general secretary described the news of the dissolution of the IAC core committee as a bad news for the anti-corruption struggle of the country�s people. The anti-corruption struggle led by the IAC could generate tremendous expectation among the people of the country.
But the latest activities of the IAC have led the people who have been raising their voices against corruption to bewilderment and disappointment.
The dissolution of the core committee was done without consulting the people, without taking the volunteers of the struggle into confidence and without there being a consensus among the members of the core committee, said the KMSS general secretary.
