GUWAHATI, March 28 - The Assam Amateur Boxing Association (AABA) has retained Kali Kanta Boro and Hemanta Kumar Kalita as president and secretary respectively in its Annual General Meeting held here on Sunday.

The meeting also nominated Chief Minister Sarbanada Sonowal as the Chief Patron and Jadab Deka, Nagen Chetia, Mukul Hazarika, Dr Parag Thakur, Jamini Mahanta as advisers. Sankar Pradhan became the treasurer of the committee.

Representatives from 29 districts took part in the meeting. A source of the AABA revealed that the World Junior and Youth Boxing Championship will be held in the city here during the month of November where over 100 countries will take part.
