Khandu inaugurates APSERC building

ITANAGAR, April 2 - Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu today inaugurated the new office building of Arunachal Pradesh State Electricity Regulatory Commission (APSERC) here.

He also suggested that wherever possible State Government should take up hydropower projects. He advocated for building of run-of-the-river projects so that no harms occur on the ecology.

Power Minister Tamiyo Taga emphasised on modernising power transmission system to cut down losses and sought opinion from the Commission to run the Power department in a profitable way. APSERC chairperson Raghunath Prasad Singh earlier delivered the welcome address.
