By Correspondent

BOKAKHAT, Oct 29 - The Kaziranga National Park (KNP) authorities have taken all steps to reopen the heritage park to visitors on November 1. All necessary arrangements have been made in this regard, including the repair of roads and bridges, to add to the convenience of tourists.

It is expected that after the completion of the repair works, visitors can visit the four ranges Eastern (Agaratoli), Central (Kohora), Western Range (Bagori) and Burhapahar without facing any difficulties. They can avail of elephant safaris at Kohora and Bagori ranges. Besides, jeep safaris will be available at Agoratoli and Burhapahar ranges.

Another attraction for tourists this year will be the National Orchid and Biodiversity Park set up at Durgapur village. The flow of domestic and foreign tourists to the park has already started, which is a good sign for the tourism industry.
