GUWAHATI, April 10 - Karnataka emerged champions by defeating Assam in the final of Bir Lachit Divyang National Cricket Tournament, organised by Differently Abled Cricket Association of Assam (DACAA).

Earlier, Assam won the toss and decided to field. Karnataka was all out for 99 in 17 overs. It was a tough fight, however, Karnataka won the match by 15 runs. Vijay Kant of Karnataka became the man of the match while Assam�s Ali Akbar was the man of the series.

Altogether six States � Tamil Nadu, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Punjab, Karnataka and Assam participated in the four-day tournament held at the Gauhati University playground.
