GUWAHATI, Oct 11 - The residents of Bokul Path, a bylane near Journalist Colony situated in Kahilipara area, are going through bitter experiences for a long time due to the horrible condition of the approximately 250-metre long road. More than 14 families are residing in the area.
The residents said that during the rainy season the road is submerged by floodwater, making life difficult for the residents living in the area.
One of the oldest residents of this area stated that no construction works have been undertaken till date by the authorities concerned.
�Every time the residents of Bokul Path approach the authorities, including the local MLA, promises are made on improving the condition of the road. But, the promises never translate into action,� he rued.
