KAAC members take oath of office

DIPHU, Jan 11 � The 26 elected members of Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC) were sworn in today at a grand official function at the KAAC session hall. Joyram Engleng, sitting MAC and former CEM, KAAC took oath first administered by Deputy Commissioner of Karbi Anglong, Rakesh Kumar on behalf of the Governor of Assam, who is the guardian of the Sixth Schedule areas of Assam.

Subsequently, the MACs elected from other constituencies took oath as per the serial number of constituency.
