GUWAHATI, Nov 30 - Frontline socio-cultural organisation Jyotirupa is organising a musical event cum intimate interaction with renowned music director and cultural activist duo from Assam, Jitu-Tapan, at the District Library here on December 7.
Titled �Rongote Nache Pokhili� after the popular song by the same wording, the event will throw light on the musical journey of the music director duo, from its commencement to reaching the peak of popularity.
A number of artistes including Dwipen Barua, Tarali Sarma, Rubul Kalita, Kritanjali Goswami, Gayatri Hazarika, Abhishruti Bezbarua, Asimjyoti Barua, Rupalim Barua and Pranamika Goswami will present Jitu-Tapan�s songs during the musical evening.
This apart, an interactive session will be held with the veteran music directors where their close associates and people from the music and cultural world of Assam will take part. The event will start at 5 pm.
