GUWAHATI, March 9 - In view of Jupiter�s closest approach to earth, Guwahati Planetarium and Pragjyotish Amateur Astronomers� Association are jointly organising a weeklong Jupiter observation programme for the public, especially students and children, in the Planetarium complex from tomorrow.

A lecture programme is also being organised at 5 pm tomorrow in the Planetarium conference hall in association with the Astronautical Society of India and International Science Educators� and Communicators� Forum. It will be delivered by noted scientist Dr TV Venkateswaran.
