GUWAHATI, Dec 9 - The 29th All Assam Junior Ranking Tennis Tournament will be held at the North East Tennis Foundation courts in Dispur from December 12 to 17.
The tournament is being organised by the North East Tennis Foundation under the auspices of All Assam Tennis Association. This major junior ranking tennis tournament of the State will be held in categories like� Boys singles U-12, 14 and 18 years and girls singles U-14 and 18 years. A boys and girls mixed U-10 years singles event will also be played during the tournament.
NETF secretary Ankush Dutta informed that the tournament carries a cash scholarship of Rs 69,800. Around 300 players are expected to take part in the championship.
