GUWAHATI, Dec 23 - The 26th Jorhat Open � a major State ranking tournament of the All Assam Tennis Association will get underway at the Jorhat Tennis Club on December 25.

Raju Bhargava, Inspector General of Police, CRPF, OPS Sector, Jorhat will inaugurate the meet at 9.30 am. The tournament carries scholarship money of Rs 69,000 besides trophies, certificates and State ranking points and will feature more than 200 players from different parts of the State.

The events to be held are boys U-12, boys U-14, boys U-18, girls U-14, girls U-18, men�s singles, boys U-14 doubles and men�s doubles. The six day-long tournament will conclude on December 30.
