Jorhat humble Bilasipara, Bud win

GUWAHATI, June 2 � Jorhat Cricket Coaching Centre crushed Bilasipara Cricket Coaching Centre by 144 runs while Bud Cricket Academy beat Mangaldai Cricket Academy through a toss of the coin in the Dilip Sarma Memorial U-14 Inter District Coaching Centre/Cricket Academy Cricket Tournament here today.

At the Nehru Stadium, Jorhat decided to bat first and scored a reasonable 191 all out in 39.2 overs in the 40-over match.

The Bilasipara batsmen miserably failed to chase down the target and were all out for 47 in 17.1 overs.

The other match of the day at the NFRSA Stadium, Maligaon was washed out due to rain. Batting first, Mangaldai were restricted to 83 in 27.2 overs and in reply, Bud were 21 for the loss of two wickets in seven overs when the match was called off. Bud CA were declared winners as they called the coin correctly.
