Jorabat residents mourn martyred CRPF jawans

JORABAT, Feb 15 - The residents of Jorabat and its adjacent areas today joined the rest of the country in condemning the worst-ever terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir in which 45 CRPF personnel were killed. Hundreds of people of the area took out a candlelight procession to pay homage to the martyred security personnel.

The mourners, that included a large number of students and local traders, also raised slogans against terrorism. They prayed for the families of those who lost their lives in the dastardly attack and also for speedy recovery of the injured.

In another programme, members of the Hahara branch of All Assam Students� Union gathered in the Hahara market area and lighted earthen lamps to express solidarity with the martyred men and those injured in the Pulwama attack.

Meanwhile, the staff members of the North East Cancer Hospital & Research Institute, Jorabat also organised a condolence and prayer meet to pay homage to the martyrs of the Pulwama attack and called for an end to bloodshed.
