GUWAHATI, Jan 22 � The Sri Digamber Jain Youth Federation will hold the fourth Jain Premier League at the Judges� Field here from January 23. It will be a eight-team championship and the teams will be from Guwahati, Bijoynagar and Nalbari who will be playing in this season.

The teams will be divided into two groups and after the preliminary league phase top four teams will qualify for the semifinal stage. The opening ceremony of the championship was organised on January 17 at the Mahabir Bhawan here.

The championship has been organised to generate fund for boys and girls hostels in the city. Rahul Sethi is the convenor of the tournament, informed Rajesh Kumar Gangwal, Public Relation Officer and Kishore Jain, secretary in a press release.
