SILCHAR, Nov 17 - If Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi is weaving plans of an alliance with AIUDF supremo Badruddin Ajmal for the 2016 Assembly elections, he must make it public, said Rajdeep Roy, State general secretary of the BJP.

Slamming the Congress and the AIUDF, Roy said that Ajmal has been seen in close proximity with the Congress leadership and there is every possibility of a tacit support to woo minority votes for crossing the poll hurdle. He termed the AIUDF as a B team of the Congress. On the other hand, unfazed with what happened in the Bihar elections, Roy said the political landscape of Bihar and Assam are distinctly different. The anti-incumbency of the ruling party will eventually benefit the BJP, Roy claimed.
