IRBn jawan commits suicide

ITANAGAR, Nov 12 - An India Reserve Battalion (IRBn) jawan allegedly committed suicide by shooting himself from his service rifle on NH-415 between Nirjuli and Banderdewa in Arunachal Pradesh, police said today.

The body which was recovered yesterday has been identified as that of Ajit Sono, a constable of 4th IRBn Special Task Force. Sono was missing since November 9 and a missing diary was lodged with the Banderdewa PS on Thursday.

Capital SP Dr A Koan said Sono allegedly committed suicide by shooting himself from his service rifle. Two bullet marks were found at the head and neck of the body, he said. � PTI
