Int�l Day of Yoga to be observed in Arunachal

ITANAGAR, June 19 - The hilly State of Arunachal Pradesh is all set to observe the International Day of Yoga on June 21 next.

At the State capital, Itanagar, the Yoga Day is being celebrated by eight different organisations as per guideline issued by Ministry of AYUSH, Govt of India to create awareness for holistic health care among common people.

Governor JP Rajkhowa and Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Kiren Rijiju will attend the celebration at IG Park here. People from all walks of life including senior government officers are expected to participate in the celebration.

At Naharlagun, ITBP in coordination with CRPF and NDRF will also observe the Day by organising an open air yoga session at Rajiv Gandhi Stadium.

KOHIMA: Nagaland will observe the International Day of Yoga on June 21 to spread the message of Yoga. The State level function organised by Nagaland Government will be held at Indira Gandhi Stadium here from 7 am to 8 am. Governor of Nagaland & Assam PB Acharya will attend the function, a Press release said.
