GUWAHATI, June 15 - Ishaku Choudhury, an international level armwrestler, died in a road mishap at Nongpoh on Sunday.
The 32-year-old Ishaku was a gold medallist at the national championship in the 105 kg category. He also took part in Asian and world level championships.
He leaves behind his wife and daughter. The All Assam Armwrestling Association secretary Prahlad Shankar Bhagawati condoled the demise of the promising armwrestler.
