GUWAHATI, March 7 � The Brihattar Noonmati Nari Nirjaton Virodhi Oikya Monch, a united forum of 100 mohila samities of Guwahati East, will observe the International Women�s Day tomorrow at Saktipith Uttar, Noonmati with a day-long programme, a press release stated.

On the occasion a procession will be taken out at 11 am from the meeting place which will be followed by an open meeting. Noted educationist, ex president Asom Sahitya Sabha Dr Birendra Nath Datta, State Women�s Commission Chairperson Mridula Saharia, noted novelist Dr Arupa Patangia Kalita and many others will address the meeting. A cultural function will also be organised in the evening.

Meanwhile, a separate press release stated that the Women Development Centre, a registered NGO with its head quarter in Joypur Kharghuli will also observed the International Women�s Day at Kharghuli at 2.30 pm.

Padmasree Hem Bharali will attend the function as chief guest while Archbishop Thomas Menamparampil, DDO, Kamrup Metro-NABARD and others will attend the function as the guest of honour respectively.
