GUWAHATI, April 17 - The Assam Baseball Association will organise the Presidential Cup International Baseball Championship at the Sarusajai Sports Complex here from April 22 to 27.
Altogether nine countries including Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh and hosts India will take part in the championship.
Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal along with Minister of State for Railways Rajen Gohain will be present in the opening ceremony which will be held at the Deshbhakta Tarun Ram Phookan Indoor Stadium in the RG Baruah Sports Complex here on April 22.
