Inter-school quiz results

GUWAHATI, June 13 � Mriganka Kalita and Madhurya Goswami of Assam Jatiya Bidyalaya, Guwahati and Bishal Goswami and Himangshu Kalita of DSR Academy, Nalbari, won the first prizes in the junior and senior category respectively in the All Assam Inter-School Quiz Competition (�Quiz for a Cause�) held on June 10 at District Library here.

While the winner of the senior category received a cash prize of Rs 30,000 along with a trophy, the winner of the junior group got richer by Rs 20,000.

In the junior category, the second and third positions were also held by Assam Jatiya Bidyalaya. In the senior group, the second and third positions were bagged by Anant Academy, Guwahati and Don Bosco, Pan Bazar.

The competition, organised by Sristi groups in association with Sarba Siksha Mission, Assam, saw participation of over 100 teams in both the categories.

In the meeting, Cotton College State University Vice Chancellor Dr Dhrubajyoti Saikia, Asom Sarba Siksha Mission Director LS Changson, City SSP Apurba Jibon Barua, Cotton College Physics Department Professor Paban Kr Saharia were also present.
