GUWAHATI, Oct 17 - As part of its efforts to unite the indigenous communities of the North East, Assam Sanmilita Mahasabha is organising a �Khilonjiya Janaganor Sangsad� (Indigenous People�s Parliament) at Imphal from November 13-15.

The Mahasabha has already held a series of discussions with various indigenous bodies of Arunachal Pradesh and Manipur and resolved to find a solution to the ills plaguing the indigenous communities of the Northeastern region based on the United Nation�s Declaration on the Rights of the Indigenous Peoples-2007.
