GUWAHATI, Aug 3 - The Joint Director of Health Services (Food Safety Branch) of Kamrup (Metro) on Friday issued �Improvement Notice� under Section 32 of the Food Safety and Standard Act 2006 to Reboti Chat House located on MLN Road, Panbazar here.
The notice was issued after an inspection was carried out by officials who found altogether 13 loopholes at the eatery, the notice stated.
The loopholes included failure in maintaining proper sanitary and hygienic requirements and other food safety measures in the kitchen. The department has given seven days to the owner to fix all the issues.
