MORIGAON, Nov 19 � KIYC of Imphal entered the last-four stage of the Motiram Bora Football Tournament defeating local outfit Morigaon District Sports Association 4-2 in tie-breaker.
After playing a 1-1 draw in the regulation time at the Khirod Baruah Stadium here today, the Imphal boys showed more accuracy in the tie-breaker converting three shots against local team�s one.
In regulation time, S Ajoy Singh put the Imphal side ahead in the 70th minute while Jiten Bordoloi drew parity in the 80th minute.
In penalty shoot-out, Nawaj Khan, S Bitom Kr Singh and Robi Chandra Singh were the successful shooters for the winning team while only Binod Boro could convert for the home side.
